One of Adelaide’s best artists of “The Field” generation is Margaret Worth. She was a pioneer of “hard-edge” painting and sculpture in Australia in the 1960s. She was at one stage married to the artist Syd Ball, and has been active since in the Adelaide scene, working as a painter, sculptor and public artist. I find her work quirky, superbly crafted and often challenging, and her collaborations with other artists, such as Gavin Malone, have borne rich fruit:
