Brothers in Arts: Works by Wladyslaw and Ludwik Dutkiewicz, an exhibition held at Nexus Gallery in Adelaide at the end of 2009, was a great success.

Thanks to all involved and for the support of art lovers, collectors and patrons who attended and purchased works. Long may you enjoy them!

I will present a survey exhibition for Ludwik Dutkiewicz at the end of 2010 at RSASA Gallery, 1st floor, Institute Building, State Library of South Australia. Details to be announced.

Since the exhibition a few people have asked me about Ludwik’s earlier work: but unfortunately there is not much more of quality that has not been sold. As for Wladyslaw, an early still life has subsequently been uncovered in a private collection, where it appears happily ensconsed.

If you own work by either artist please send jpegs (don’t mind the quality) through to this contact address. I am always interested in seeing work by them that I may not know.

The Polart exhibition opened on 27 December 2009 at RSASA Gallery, Institute Building, State Library of South Australia. It featured paintings by Wlad, Ludwik and Adam Dutkiewicz and a ceramic sculpture by Ursula Dutkiewicz as well as many other artists of Polish origin working in Australia today:
